About Us

Welcome to Lenans Norwegian Elkhounds. I am located just a few miles northwest of Eugene, Oregon on a little over 5 acres. I have been busy over the last 30+ years showing, training, breeding and loving my Elkhounds.

At Lenans the breedings are chosen carefully by selecting dogs that reflect excellence in health, temperament and physical characteristics.

I care deeply about the form, function and temperament of this breed. It is my desire that each puppy be given an excellent opportunity to enjoy a happy and healthy life.

Once a Norwegian Elkhound is in your heart, you will never be the same.
